There are three empty forums on the bottom of the main page that are empty and dated 12/31/1969?

The forums are empty because their contents have been archived. The 12/31/69 date is probably date zero as stored in the operating system. When it's not seeing an actual date for the last posting (because there aren't any) it finds a date of zero and displays it the way we're seeing it.

I haven't been minding the store too well, did Squid Dude archive stuff since 10/21? That's the last time I took a backup of the archives on the mother server.

It's not a bug, it's just an empty forum. And it's perfectly okay for those forums (or fora) to remain empty until April.
