The Hawaiian Winter League season has wrapped, though we didn't cover it much.

Playing for the North Shore Honu, two of three Met batters did OK, with Mike Carp finishing fifth in the league in batting average.

The league is packed with Asians --- some affilated with US teams and some not, I think --- but some of the biggest campaigns on the team came from Aisians, with Honolulu-born secondbaseman Rodney Choy Foo (Indians) going .286 /.383 / .487 // .870.

Koby Clemens, still spooked from that beaning his dad gave him, limped to the finish line with a .563 OPS.

I only saw two Met pitchers I recognized on the Honu roster, with mixed results.
