No need to do any cap speculation this year.

It's an Oriole and a Padre, nice and simple.

I guess Herhiser does become the new one-and-done starting pitcher then.

Or maybe Gooden.

Well, they will have to decide between the goofy bird and the oronthologically correct Oriole. They will go with the latter, I would guess; tho Eddie Murray got the former.

I'd rather have a realistic bird on my plaque than a cartoon character.

I wonder if they'd at least let Ripken make that choice?

One thing we can be sure of: Gwynn's Padre cap will be brown. Or brownish, anyway, because of the color of the metal they use.

Joyner and Brosius now disprove my theory that there is at least one voter (and if I had a ballot I'd actually do this) feels that if you got yourself a legit piece of MLB hardware (ROY and WS MVP, and even GG counting White) you deserve a vote for HOF, even if its the only vote you are going to get.

Joyner had too many hits for zero votes...Brosius is an MFY tee-hee

Bobby Bo got two votes.

Then he ate them.

Surprised Eric Davis and Canseco so totally snubbed.

i think Canseco alienated everyone with his book.
