Anja is one hard working spammer

Now that's what I like to see. None of the bullshit spamming of posting once and running for the hills. I like to see someone who puts some work into their spam.

Nicely done Anja.

My suggestions:

1) Disable the registration page and replace it with a junk email account. Request that all serious registrants include the name of a Met in the message title or they won;t hear back.

2) Pressure the software owner to make one of those weird wavy letter and number thingys come up.

We had turned on the weird wavy letter and number thingie, and it doesn't work!

The spamming around here is getting pretty darn annoying.

Anja is the hardest working man in spam business.

Anja is talking loud and saying nothing.

Anja feels like being a sex machine.

I don't know how the administratorss have time to post any more. They have to spend so much time deleting spamming accounts. I know we took a lot of crap for being elitist in the old days, but being an invitation only membership pretty much eliminated spammers. I'm not advocating a return to that policy of the old days, because there have been a numerous wonderful posters that have stumbled upon the CPF of their own volition that would not be here had that initial policy continued. However, there has to be a way of making the registration process less appealing to spammers.

I like JD's idea of a simple questionaire for registration. Hopefully, people that read the forum and wish to become members won't mind a small registration process. Maybe a short questionaire asking a few simple questions would be sufficient. Something along the lines of:

When did you first became a Mets fan?
Who was your favorite Met player of the past and why?
Who is your favorite current Met player is and why?

That shouldn't be too much of a hindrance to true fans that sincerely wish to discuss baseball, but hopefully it would discourage spammers that don't wish to be bothered with a simple introduction.

I've been a Mets fan since the late 1950s. But I hate the Mets. I attend every home game, and quite a few road games, to disparage them. I quit my job, divorced my wife, put my silly kids up for adoption to give me more time to follow the team closely and boo my ass off. In short, I'm a typical Mets fan.

The only good Met is a dead Met, so I'll start with Casey Stengel, Warren Spahn, Tommie Agee. These fuckers can't be dead enough for me, so my answer is "Whoever's been dead the longest."

I don't understand the third question. Are there people who like any of the current team?

What exactly is phentermine? What does it do? Does it make you feel
better than a spicy bloody mary on an empty hung-over stomach? Beer?
'ludes? Is it safe to take with Viagra? Will she remain unsatisfied? Will I
stay fat and bald? Will my unit get bigger or smaller on it? If I buy in bulk,
will the Mets win the pennant? Got any investment ideas? Anything for
itchy rear end?
