This is hard to rate, as Mamet adaptations are hard to compare to anything but other Mamet adaptations.

Know what I hate? When sleezy pathetic Hollywood guys play sleezy pathetic Hollywood guys, as if being in on the joke absolves them from being the joke. Alec Baldwin, I still don't trust you as far as I can throw you.

Ryan O'Neal, Zero Effect didn't get you off the hook either.

I enjoyed this IIRC...Baldwin can be a brillaint actor...

I saw this a few years back. It was okay. Better than some Mametmovies (Edmond, Homicide) worse than others (House of Games, The Spanish Prisoner).

Not a bad little film. A nice satire of the film making process. I should write it up for my web page.
