EVERYDAY I WRAP THE FOOT
By Cliff Floyd

Don’t tell me: another Achilles?
When my other one just got better
And it does strange things to my power…
I run gingerly to avoid another injury
I'm a man on a mission in appalling condition,
And, I am giving you my best output
Everyday, everyday, everyday, everyday I wrap the foot

Season One, it really hurt me to run
Season Two: I think my hamstring went kaboom
I was darn near injury-free in the middle of Season Three
But I was up to my old tricks in two-thousand-and-six

And, I am giving you my best output
Everyday, everyday, everyday I wrap the foot

The way I walk
The way I walk, and ‘cuz of my bad back
Young David Wright lugs my bags
My best statistics aren’t on my baseball card
They’re captured here on this hospital chart

And I am giving you my best output
Everyday, everyday, everyday, everyday I wrap the foot
Everyday I wrap the foot

Don’t tell me I don’t know the difference
Between Advil and other pain fighters
As I told so many New York sports writers:
Even with a shattered wrist, and weak stringy hamstrings
I’d still like to play another year right here in Flushing

And, I am giving you my best output
Everyday, everyday, everyday, every I wrap the foot

Everyday!
Everyday!
Everyday!
Everyday I wrap the foot!
I’m giving you my best output, everyday I wrap the foot…
Everyday, everyday, everyday…

===========================================
HAPPY GUY (a CPF song parody about Lastings
Milledge to the tune of Sour Girl)
===========================================

It's a tied game, what was he thinking 'bout?
He was a happy guy the day of those high fives
Hey, what was he thinking 'bout?
He was a happy guy the day of those high fives

Middle of ten, what was he thinking 'bout?
He was a happy guy the day of those high fives
Hey, what was he thinking 'bout?
He was a happy guy the day of those high fives

What will you do?
What will you do when he breaks on through?
What will you do? I wonder.

Tied game that day, what was he thinking 'bout?
Was he a cocky guy the day of those high fives
Say, what was he thinking 'bout?
He felt like superman, but what was he thinking?

The big-time prospect ride's a lonely one
It takes a big man to break into the clubhouse
Hey, what was he thinking 'bout?
Was he a brazen guy the day of those high fives?

What will you do?
What will you do when he breaks on through?
What will you do? I wonder.

What will you do?
What will you do when he breaks on through?
What will you do? I wonder.

The press got reasons
Fans all got reasons

What will you do?
What will you do when he breaks on through?
What will you do? I wonder.

What will you do?
What will you do when he breaks on through?
What will you do? I wonder.

Hey, what was he thinking 'bout?
He was a sour guy the day that he left us
The day that he left us the day that he left us
He was a sour guy the day that he left us
The day that he left us the day that he left us
He was a sour guy the day that he left us

"Sour Girl" isn't loading.

And I really wanted to rock.

I had problems with the link too when I posted. The link is accurate and it's
working now up here.

Sarah, get me Ted on the horn ... we need to come up with an early
concession speech.

Put me down as one of the minority votes for KC. It's got a good beat, you can dance to it.

With less than an hour to go ... nice work Johnny. Good
luck in the next round.

Just so Johnny's luck isn't TOO good, know what I'm saying here?

I piled on a bit, adding a vote to Johnny's swelling majority, feeling that its excellence was a little more excellent than KC's excellence. (KC's ending made it seem as if Milledge has already left--did I miss something in this morning's newspaper?)

I was singing in the future. I had a good concept match, I shoulda
put more on the table for a round two song. Mine was so round one.

Wait'll next year.

Well, I consider myself thrilled to make it to the final 4, and congratulate KC on a game well-played.

I'd never heard that song before.

Kase - feel free to join us in the Looser's Lounge. I replenished the supply of shrimp, got some cheese puffs, and picked up some beer and wine.

But hurry up before Yancy eats everything again - this was my third trip to Sam's Club today!

JD: >>>I'd never heard that song before.<<<

Really?

SK: >>>feel free to join us in the Looser's Lounge<<<

Loosers ... I wish I kept a picture of that sign man classic.

Really. And I liked it. So my loss.

But Stone Temple Pilots was one of those acts that turned me off right away. I completely dismissed them as Pearl jam ripoff artists and before I could reconsider that notion, seemed like their singer was in rehab.

I think Pearl Jam affected a lot of stuff with their first album, most of it bad.
I liked STP much more, and bought the first four albums as they were released.
Sour Girl is really the only good song imo on No4 ... the band tanked.
