I'm planning on seeing this tonight. I've heard great things about this film (even beside its Best Picture nomination). I'll post more after I've seen it.

I didn't love it. It's well-intentioned and well-filmed, but I found it a bit tedious. Give it another star or two if you are into old fashioned war films.

It was well done but IMO easily the weakest of the Oscar contenders.

I liked this one a lot better than Clint's English language film on the same topic (Flags of our Fathers)
