Tom Lasorda Ads (split)

Is it me, or does Lasorda come off as a senile old asshead when he's looking up the tree and sees the guy sitting there in CUBS JERSEY and then asks the lady, "what's his team?"? The stupidest things get me wound up, sorry.

I thought of that too. Maybe from that angle, Tommy could only see the bottoms of the guy's feet.

More a production screw up than anything, I guess. Note to Fox: The "Ambassador of Baseball" should be able to recognize a Cubs jersey.

I feel like Tommy's talking to me in those commercials. I generally only watch the postseason if the Mets are involved. When they're not, I hide in the kitchen cabinets.

Think about this for a minute; FOX is running these commercials, telling people to watch the baseball playoffs, and they're running them during the baseball playoffs - in effect reaching only those who are already watching them.

I assume they're running them at other times too. If not, they really don't make any sense at all, do they?
