Tommy S. - An uncle (15 years my senior) that went blind as a teenager. We used to listen to baseball games together on the radio when I was a teenager. He taught me to read and write Braille.

Joyce E. - An aunt that was the first to recommend that I become a doctor or lawyer. Started me thinking about what I wanted to do with my life.

Lucy R. - High school Pre-calculus teacher that shortly before graduation told me, "I wish you well with your college plans, but I'm afraid that you may not be able to handle the math." She served as my source of inspiration and motivation whenever things seemed too hard in college and grad school.

Name three people that gave you valuable advise during your adolescence.
