BUFFALO SABRES KICKS OTTAWA'S ASS

Yesterday, the Buffalo Sabres and the Ottawa Senators got into a huge fight after a cheap hit from one of the Senators forwards injured the Sabres captain. So tehy started a fight then and continued into teh next shift when the Sabres sent out their five best fighters to kick some ass. HELL, even Martin Biron and Ray Emery, the two GOALIES got into a fight. They cut to this last night during the Rangers/Devils game,Sam Rosen said that Emery was an ex boxer,took a beating from Peters though...

Been there done that with the pigeon stuff. How about this: Don't post huge reams of crap that nobody cares about. We're trying to keep our forum size manageable, and when you paste huge blocks of text that nobody's interested in, it doesn't do anybody any good. As I recall, you post that stuff elsewhere as well. Why don't you just post a link here to your wrestling blog (or whatever it is) and anyone who's interested will click on the link.

Emery, who sports a Mike Tyson painting on his mask, slayed Biron, and stood up to a much bigger player in Peters. Nothing to be ashamed of there. I always thought it was an unwritten code that goalies were off limits-- I expect Peters will get fined heavily for his actions.

Well DocTee, originally the NHL was going to fine Andrew Peters somewhere around $5000 for his attack on Emery, but there is some new-found rule in fighting that was made when hockey returned last year from the lockout. The rule states Goalies and Fighting, should a goalie start a fight with a player or the other goalie, he is completely open to attack, Peters was defending the smaller Biron, he is allowed to do this since Emery started the attack on Biron. Peters, Biron and Emery all got ejected because another rule in goalie fighting is that if a goalie fights at all, he is tossed from the game completely, and anyone involved in a fight with the goalie, they will also be tossed. TO Yancy, Sheesh, I was just joking around, dont need to be so hard on me about it :P

I saw the clips, it wasn't even the best hockey fight I've seen. I guess you don't get as many full-on rumbles as you used to, but I feel like this was a lot of nothing, in the end.

Well, it was another good game played by both teams and Ottowa ended up winning 6-5 after a bad bounce cost Buffalo. There were two fight in this game... Peters vs. McGratton Mair vs. Neil
