Could get 30 years in the pen....I doubt that though.

More like 30 lashes with a wet noodle, followed by a presidential pardon and his own TV show on Fox: "America: How It Can Be Fixed."

That's what I was thinking. Even if he goes to jail, he'll be out by January 20, 2009.

The presidential pardon is a terrible thing, who ever came up with it....I remember Clinton given a pardon to that Rich fella....big hullabaloo over that..and rightly so.

Bush I pardoning everyone involved in Iran-Contra was pretty scuzzy, too. Yeah, Scooter will prolly appeal and seek delays etc until Bush II is on his way out. Presidents shouldn't be able to pardon folks who worked in their administration.

Obviously, all cases are different, but Reagan, Clinton, and especially George H.W. Bush look downright restrained, pardon-wise, compared to their predecessors.

And do you remember who Rich's lawyer was? None other than Scooter Libby.
