Mexico City?

Looks like I'm going in two weeks time for a 4/5 day spin!

never been there myself, i've heard Mexico's water sucks and you might get sick if you don't stick to bottled stuff. Whether thats true (and to what extent) I'm not sure, but why chance it?
You should also know that Mexico City is at a higher altitude than Denver, so lets just hope you don't have breathing problems.

I spent a night at an airport hotel.

I've had great times in Mexico but haven't spent time in Mexico City. I'd like to one day, though.

Changed planes in the airport there and THAT was a nightmare.

I know Mexico City has very poor quiality air. That combined with its high altitude suggests that you might want to bring your own oxygen tank.

The city itself is enormous. I believe the population is close to 20 million. Lots of extreme poverty and, I'm told, horrible drivers.

Gutted to miss the game, but trips to Mexico ain't gonna come along TOO often.
