I think I'd pick a dead baseball player too, but two female celebrities. That way I don't have to hang around with a baseball player, and I don't have to share one of the celebrities. I have no idea which two females I'd choose. It's easy enough to find two attractive actresses, but I'd have to do some research into which of them would be least insufferable. And I'm not about to do THAT until I'm actually faced with this dilemma in real life.

I care absolutely zilch about celebrities but I guess I would choose Britney Spears and Brandy, two young ladies who could really use a supportive mother figure right now. What 3 cd's of music would you bring? Diverse, I know.

1. Things Invisible to See by Nancy Willard. 2. Bull Durham 3. Christy Mathewson (I'm assuming this desert island is in a time warp) 4. Marilyn Monroe and Catherine Zata-Jones 5. I'd take 4 - the Louis Armstrong "Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man" CD Box.

Baseball Book - a novel I read as a teenager called 'Breaking Balls', it was a sexually fueled story about a big league pitcher who is a superstar and whose career mirrors Tom Seaver's (on the field anyway) even including a 'Midnight Massacre' when he gets unceremoniously traded from the first and only team he had ever known. I remember really digging it but I'm guessing that it was probably pretty bad. Baseball Movie - The Natural Baseball Player - Sandy Koufax, the King of Cool (in my eyes anyway). Two Celebrities - Christina Ricci & Kirsten Dunst. Sandy and I would share. Three CDs - Orchestral Manoeuvres in th Dark - Crush, The Police - Outlandos d'Amour, Rickie Lee Jones - Flying Cowboys ="cooby"]What baseball player would you most like to be marooned with ? EdDuque Hernandez - he knows how to get off an island. But, considering my answer to the next question, it wouldn't have to be immediately. What 2 celebs would u bring with you (hell, the baseball player needs one too)? George Carlin - to make me laugh, Shakira- for everything else for me. And ElDuque could bring his own.
