We truly are rockin' docs...

In January, our office canned the politically correct, canned music from the past and decided to instead use the digital music feeds from our satellite dish. As I was relaxing over lunch at my desk I took note of what was now playing in throughout our office. It's now a rather eclectic mixture of music, but I find it far more tolerable than the typical doctor office fare.

The last few songs have been "My Sharona" by the Knack, "Lowdown" by Boz Scaggs, "Stray Cat Strut" by the Stray Cats, and "Long Run" by the Eagles.

Much to my surprise and delight, there have been no complaints regarding our change in musical direction from either our patients or our staff.

Never gonna stop
Gve it up
Such a dirty mind
Always get it up
For the touch
Of the younger kind

Any Docs office that plays "Stray Cat Strut" is cool in my book....

I was rather surprised to hear "My Sharona" come on. Just shows that most people just don't listen to the lyrics. It's just background noise to most of the patients.

We just rocked out to "Wipe Out" by the Safaris, "Saturday Night" by the Bay City Rollers, and "Louie, Louie" by the Kingsmen.

I had a vision - before opening this thread - of stories about a Karl Rove-like dance routine at some optometrist convention somewhere.
