If you get an error message while trying to load the board, it would be helpful if you could please cut and paste it into this thread. Only post messages that are different from these two or ones posted afterwards. Thanks for your help. While these are all different, they're all the same. In each case the connection to the database was lost during an operation. The differences are there because the broken connection came during different tasks, but there's really only one underlying cause to all of these.

IS this the same? I get it whenever I try to access an archved thread: Could not connect: Access denied for user 'admin02'@'cgi14.int.bizland.net' (using password: YES)

Nope, ira, that's a new one. It seems like somebody changed a password for the database that serves the archives. I have no idea what bizland.net is. Something is awry.

I just reset the database password to what it had previously been, and the archives are once again available. We do apologize for any inconvenience.

I've noticed several times that when the clock hits midnight this place shuts down for a minute,anyone else noticed that...?

I believe that midnight is when the nightly backup occurs.
