This is funny (at least I think it's funny). On the way home from the Mets game, D-Dad suggested that we stop by Rutgers on the way home, so that I can figure out my route for traveling to and from campus for orientation next month (that was really sweet of him, btw, since it was a little out of our way, and I know he wanted to get home after the long day out. But he knew that I was nervous about the drive, so we drove the route and now I'll know it better when I have to go up there by myself ). ANYWAY, as we are driving south from Rutgers on Route 27, we pass by the White Castle in New Brunswick! So I LMAO for a couple of minutes, and figured that I needed to post this poll once I got home.

I never would have watched this movie but for the original thread on ezBoard - it was silly, but it had some great moments. It's also a great little travelogue through NJ - I knew way too many of the places where they had their misadventures along the way.

Not a perfect film, by any means, but it's entertaining and has its share of laughs. I definitely recommend it.

And now I know where to find the White Castle burgers.

What was said in the original thread? Can you summarize?

Damn - I can't remember. It was months ago, on a forum that no longer exists, thanks to the cyber tsunami.

Whatever was said, it was enough to get me to spring for pay per view to see the film. I'm sure I never would have given this one a shot but for the reviews of my fellow Crane Poolers.

BTW, the 90-second scene with Kumar having his med school interview with a character played by Fred Willard is worth the cost of the rental alone.

Hysterical. Bizarre. Ridiculous.

It's like a combination of Office Space, Animal House, and Up In Smoke. Good times, all around.

If this movie was out when I was in college, I would have seen it seven million times by now. We finally saw it last night; hysterical.
