David Wright as Hitting Coach

]The onslaught was born in large part late Wednesday night, when third baseman David Wright noticed that Mientkiewicz was slow in moving his hands through the hitting zone. Wright cued up some of Mientkiewicz's game tapes in the clubhouse to illustrate his point. In Mientkiewicz's first at-bat yesterday, he ripped a ball foul down the first-base line.

Piazza has been in something of an uncharacteristic crouch of late also.

Not for nothing, but I couldn't hit a slo-pitched softball for crap till I forced myself to crouch as the pitch is arriving. Now I'm feared throughout low-level co-ed work leagues played on little league fields all over Manhattan.

That's still one of the funniest photoshop jobs I have ever seen. Cracks me up every time.

Who gets the credit for that one, BTW?

JG sent me that many moons ago. (is he still missing in action or is he
using another handle that I didn't pick up on yet?)
