Can’t wait for Wright to drive Easley home.

Costello: “A single to center field, the run scores.”

Abbott: “Easily.”

C: “Yes, that’s right.”

A: “No, the runner scoring is Easley.”

C: “That’s what I said.”

A: “No, you said ‘that’s Wright.’”

C: “Right. The run scored easily.”

A: “So why did you say it was Wright?”

C: “It was right.”

A: “Then who drove in the run?”

C: “That was Wright.”

A: “Wright drove himself in?”

C: “That can’t be right. He’s standing on first base.”

A: “Yes, that’s Wright. He just got a single.”

C: “Yes, easily.”

A: “Well, Easley’s who he drove home. That’s what I said.”

C: “That’s right. He scored easily.” Etc.

"Who do you think is their primary starter?"

"Maine?"

"Fine then, their main starter."

"Maine."

"Yeah, that's what I'm asking."

"And that's what I'm saying. It's him, easily."

"WE'RE NOT TALKIN' ABOUT SHORTSTOPS!"

"Great catch, Endy!"

"And he what?"

"Endy made that catch, that's all."

"But you said, 'and he'..."

"I know, Endy made the catch".

"But what'd he do first?"

"Endy ran to the ball."

"What do you mean 'and he' ran to the ball? He had to run to the ball first!"

"That's what I said!"
