Question re: Weighting for Wins

I think I read that player ranks are weighted for wins, so if players A and B of the same relative rank played on 100-win and 50-win teams, respectively, player A would have a higher rank.

With that in mind, do we prorate service time?

Ex. Shawn Green ranks in the 340s. He only played about 40 games with the Mets. Does he get the same weighting as LoDuca, who played the whole 2006 season?

He'd be ranked lower on the 2006 list because of his shorter tenure.

Well Green was ranked lower than LoDuca because we (whoever chose to participate) ranked him that way. The final results showed Green to be the 21st best Met in 2006 while LoDuca was 6th best and their relative playing time was certainly a big factor in determining that.

So, IOW, no. Green doesn't get his final score further altered based on his shorter NYM season because the score he received already reflects it.

Something spooky about you becoming Lynch with the end of a rope as your avatar.
