btw, The career record for highest pct of hits as singles (or at least it was when I stumbled across this question a few years back) is Maury Wills.
There was probably a 1,000 hit minimum or something along those lines.

The actually gave the percentages: Castillo was at 84%, and all were over 75%

I'm guessing that the last three years they weren't.
