Isolated thunderstorms for tonight,I'd really like to see the Brewers win their division, kinda like to see long suffering fans have joy for a change, just hope they lose three this weekend.
|
Johnny Dickshot May 11 2007 02:02 PM |
And if nothing else, it'd be nice if they could win the AL East again.

That got me going to Wikipedia...I didn't know that to avoid any conflict of interest with the Brewers moving to the National League MLB first offered the move to the Kansas City Royals, they turned it down, then the Brewers were offered,if they had turned it down then it would have been offered to the Twins..fascinating http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milwaukee_Brewers

No, they're north of the Cubs, who are north of the Cards. Milwaukee's between Chicago and the north pole.

Seriously, I'd flip-flop Delgado and Green in the lineup for a while.
|
Kid Carsey May 11 2007 04:57 PM |
Easy to say, tough to do though if you're the guy filling out the lineup card.
|
Nymr83 May 11 2007 05:19 PM |

metsguyinmichigan May 11 2007 06:34 PM |
I saw Sosa pitch in a spring training game against Houston and he was ghastly. But we sure can't complain so far.
|
seawolf17 May 11 2007 06:35 PM |

5 pitch inning for Suppan in the 6th. That sucks.
|
Johnny Dickshot May 11 2007 06:44 PM |
If they don't give away their rally in the 4th Soupy may not have even gotten to pitch that 5-pitch inning.
|
seawolf17 May 11 2007 06:47 PM |

this whole weekend is bad pitching matchups for the Mets, its great to take the opener, if we can get a 2nd game that'll be even better.

Post-game interview, the Eunuch asks Delgado if he thought about last season's final game vs. Suppan when they were smacking him around tonight.

Gwreck May 11 2007 08:44 PM |
Fun game.
|
Frayed Knot May 12 2007 05:34 AM |
The argument FOR bunting w/Sosa there is that it avoids the GiDP and (pretty much) assures that you'll save Reyes a shot - and have it come with 2 in scoring position.
