Dookie's got nothing and seems to be laboring.

Edgy DC
May 31 2007 05:20 PM

Vizquel whacks that slow curve easy.

DocTee
May 31 2007 05:22 PM

Giants get 2 in the first for the third time in as many games.

OlerudOwned
May 31 2007 05:22 PM

Never fun to turn the game on a little late and find yourself in a 2-0 hole.

Things to do today (and seemingly every day):

- Get into a first-inning deficit ... Check!

Edgy DC
May 31 2007 05:43 PM

How 'bout my Mets? Answering with two of their own.

Edgy DC
May 31 2007 05:46 PM

Good news. El Duque's got his groove back.

Bad news. Go-Go is in for Beltran.

Love them leadoff dubbles.

May 31 2007 05:57 PM

Nymr83
May 31 2007 05:57 PM

May 31 2007 05:59 PM

Where's HoJo on that one? He's gotta be all over Endy to take two.

Elster88
May 31 2007 06:03 PM

For the love of God what happened to Carlos?

May 31 2007 06:04 PM

I was just following on Yahoo. Saw Beltran left with an injury. Did it look bad? Yikes!

A Boy Named Seo
May 31 2007 06:07 PM

He had a run-in with Aurelia at first and fell kind of awkward on his leg. Didn't look like much at first, he stayed in the game and scored on Wright's double. He was walking around the dugout and looked okay, but pulled himself out.

Elster88
May 31 2007 06:11 PM

Is it all anecdotal, or does every converted first baseman end up hurting someone/himself because he doesn't know how to cover the bag?

A Boy Named Seo
May 31 2007 06:16 PM

Ben Baumer lives. Who was the other guy? Adam Fisher?

OlerudOwned
May 31 2007 06:18 PM

Frandsen's caught a serious case of Vizquel.

Elster88
May 31 2007 06:22 PM

We're gonna need another Petey. I mean another outfielder.

Omar in the booth with Ron and Gary said something about a bruise. I didn't catch where the bruise is.

Neat clip of Bonds hitting career home run #2 off Ron Darling.

Elster88
May 31 2007 06:26 PM

Just for kicks, SNY shows a skinny Barry Bonds hitting a homer to center off a sexy Ronnie Darling.

"Oh my god, there are men on". and "he was hitting leadoff at the time. Not a lot of leadoff hitters hit home runs to center at the time. Needless to say it got my attention" from Darling. He's good in the booth. I like.

¡Viva El Duque!

¡Viva El Shift!

Edgy DC
May 31 2007 06:41 PM

Eight in a row and 14 of 15 for Hernandez.

Go-Go can Go-Get-It.

A Boy Named Seo

What the hell are those tubular necklaces El Duque's wearing? I've seen a few of those things on ball players lately.

Edgy DC
May 31 2007 06:51 PM

Are you people seeing this guy pitch?

Edgy DC
May 31 2007 06:58 PM

Five infield hits.

Duque can wear panty hose over his head, the way he's pitching.

Edgy DC
May 31 2007 07:00 PM

Sending him up with a RISP and 100 pitches under his belt.

Elster88
May 31 2007 07:02 PM

85 pitches

Edgy DC
May 31 2007 07:10 PM

Coolio. They must've been reading Cain's and I misheard.

Big ol' Matt is working the right-field line.

Edgy DC
May 31 2007 07:13 PM

Gomez stays in the box while Shea is getting buzzed by a jet.

Edgy DC
May 31 2007 07:15 PM

Your game, Bazooka Joe.

Frayed Knot
May 31 2007 07:18 PM

Woulda been nice if we could have knocked across an extra run or two during that long stretch of hitless Gigantes.

'Mando traded. Basically because of one bad game.

EDIT: Two in a row, actually. Still.

Early reports indicate that he'll go back to the Marlins, where he hopefully won't dominate us again.

] Two days after the right-hander balked in the tying run in a crushing loss to the New York Mets, the Giants were prepared to ship him off their roster either by trade or outright release.

Geez.

Edgy DC
May 31 2007 07:23 PM

Edgy DC

Vizquel pops to c.

Es dos.

Elster88
May 31 2007 07:38 PM

Seriously, Aurilia was clueless up there. See you next year Barry. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

OlerudOwned
May 31 2007 07:39 PM

Wagner might make Bochy reconsider letting Aurillia get more appearances than Bonds.

Edgy DC
May 31 2007 07:39 PM

Ka-pow.

Frayed Knot
May 31 2007 07:40 PM

I very much approve of saves where no one hits a fair ball and leaves the slugger on deck.

Elster88

GOD CAN WAGNER EVER SAVE A GAME WITHOUT MAKING ME NERVOUS? EVERY FUCKING TIME THAT GUY

Edgy DC
May 31 2007 07:59 PM

Any update on our all-star centerfielder?

Kid Carsey
May 31 2007 08:04 PM

E88: >>>GOD CAN WAGNER EVER SAVE A GAME WITHOUT MAKING ME NERVOUS? EVERY FUCKING TIME THAT GUY<<<

Well, games like tonight don't make me nervous.

TRY DECAF TOMORROW NIGHT!!!!
