Can someone translate the Dbacks lineup?

When I'm reading this in 10 years I'm gonna have no idea who a couple of the Metsies are too.

Ah. I didn't bother reading after Headquarters cuz I figured I wouldn't get any of them. Thx.

I'm really starting to love watching Perez pitch. I look forward to it all day.

I'm not to the point where I don't worry about him losing it...but he is a joy to watch so far this year.

3 up, 3down for ARI in the first. 2 Ks for Ollie.

Met too. I kinda love that he seems fragile. It makes him seem more human to me than most robot ballplayers today.

Fran was right about cahnfidence.

Edgy DC
Jun 03 2007 11:43 AM

He was right about one thing a million times.

Hop that line, Ollie.

TransMonk
Jun 03 2007 11:47 AM

Scoreless through 3. Ollie's perfect with 4 Ks.

Edgy DC
Jun 03 2007 11:51 AM

Well, that's over, Hotshot.

TransMonk
Jun 03 2007 11:54 AM

Yeah, that one's my fault...he's still at the minimum.

TransMonk
Jun 03 2007 12:29 PM

2-0 Snakes after 5.

The Mets offense needs to assemble and activate.

Edgy DC
Jun 03 2007 12:38 PM

OK, Let's go Zephyrs.

Edgy DC
Jun 03 2007 12:43 PM

One's a start. One's a start.

TransMonk
Jun 03 2007 12:53 PM

3-1 D'bags at the stretch.

Let's score some runs.

Sat down on the couch, Perez had no-hit stuff.

Wake up an hour later from the inevitable nap, we're down 3-0. Crap!

Edgy DC
Jun 03 2007 12:53 PM

FBI.

Fuckin' Big Inning.

Edgy DC
Jun 03 2007 12:59 PM

Wow. There's those Gomez wheels I've been hearing so much about.

[*]1-GOT-OFFENSE[/*]

Yeah, I'd like to order some O for Shea today and charge it to the Mets
account.

Sure, I'll wait.

Edgy DC
Jun 03 2007 01:13 PM

That was Reyes' third error ths season.

Which is about a game for Derek Jeter these days.

Edgy DC
Jun 03 2007 01:20 PM

Amazing that Davis is still out there.

Just reach, Endy.

Edgy DC
Jun 03 2007 01:22 PM

Carlos Delgado.

Tying run.

Wee.

Edgy DC
Jun 03 2007 01:24 PM

Not wee.

Edgy DC
Jun 03 2007 01:30 PM

Hang in there, P L D.

Edgy DC

TransMonk

Come on Eazy-E.

Edgy DC
Jun 03 2007 01:35 PM

Edgy DC

Nuttin'.

Kid Carsey
Jun 03 2007 01:37 PM

Yes, I've been on hold for forty some odd minutes.

Yes, I can wait 'til the ninth.

Hello?

Edgy DC
Jun 03 2007 01:42 PM

Johnson, Gomez, and mebbe Beltran in the ninth.

Boys, time to hit like men.

Johnson goes down in a manner that makes it seem appropriate that he's wearing Boisclair's number.

Edgy DC
Jun 03 2007 01:47 PM

Go-go.

No-no.

Edgy DC
Jun 03 2007 01:49 PM

Whoah.

Suck.

Johnny Dickshot
Jun 03 2007 02:03 PM

Yup.

I haven't had the feeling that I do with O. Perez these days that a super game can fizzle into a disaster instantly since the heyday of S. Fernandez.

Edgy DC
Jun 03 2007 02:50 PM

The disaster was the offense.

I'd take his line every day all year long.

iramets
Jun 03 2007 02:53 PM

Wasn't there a moment, though, in the middle of the game where you asked, "Who the hell put on Perez's uniform between innings?" For me, it was when he camethisclose to walking the pitcher, who hadn't had a hit since Little League.
