Nice, Wright cleanup, Delgado 5th. Welcome back, Hammer.

Nomar on the pine tonight in favor of Loney. I'm like totally Nostradamus.

Gwreck

I thought the same thing. Delgado took it himself for the third out and smiled at El Duque, but Duque didn't smile back.

Valadius
Jun 11 2007 09:08 PM

Delgado knocks one into the corner for a double.

Dookie gets booed by the Dodger fans.

Is there a branch of the Wolf Pack in LA?

Valadius

Beltran bought a monkey from an exotic pet dealer and El Duque hit a panther in his car??

Vin Scully is the undisputed king of fucking weird, oddball factoids.

Johnny Dickshot

Who is FARMER JOHN?

A Boy Named Seo
Jun 11 2007 09:24 PM

It's the company that makes all the Dodger Dogs, but I'm not sure who John is or was.

Mmm... I mean blech!

There was a freaking Pac-Man CEREAL?!?!?!?

Valadius
Jun 11 2007 09:29 PM

GODDAMMIT!!!!!!!!

Gwreck
Jun 11 2007 09:36 PM

El Duque not so sharp. 80 pitches for El Duque through 4.

Gwreck
Jun 11 2007 09:37 PM

The boos for LoDuca and Green don't make sense to me.

Valadius
Jun 11 2007 09:39 PM

Green Monster aboard.

Edgy DC
Jun 11 2007 09:39 PM

My fault.

Duque had a no-hitter. I thought, "I should take the dog out now. This might get fun."

Stupid.

Johnny Dickshot

Time to do massive damage to enemy crab.

It's ok, it's been 7211 games, what's one more?

I'll take some fault too. I had been cleaning up during the Mets time up because I wanted to concentrate on the Dodgers' time up because of the no-hits-yet too.

Edgy DC
Jun 11 2007 09:42 PM

I've got Deflected Infield HIt Fever and I don't want no cure.

Nah..not your fault. Blame the WFAN caller today who predicted a Duque no hitter.

Johnny Dickshot
Jun 11 2007 09:44 PM

Gary sez: Delgado 0 for last 17 and 5 for last 45 in RISP opps.

Valadius
Jun 11 2007 09:45 PM

Dammit Delgado!!!

Big K of Martin. Could well be El Duque's last inning (due up 4th in the top of the 5th).

Valadius
Jun 11 2007 09:59 PM

Dookie gets aboard.

Frayed Knot
Jun 11 2007 10:02 PM

Not exactly the best spot for a bunt there young Carlos.

Valadius
Jun 11 2007 10:06 PM

Oh Lord... what the hell is Dookay doing still in there?

WTF????????????????

Gwreck
Jun 11 2007 10:17 PM

Shoula taken El Duque out for the PH. I'd criticize myself for hindsight...except, wait, I suggested that earlier. Dammit Willie.

Johnny Dickshot
Jun 11 2007 10:20 PM

Schoenewaste in; Dickshot out.

I went to bed with the score tied at 3,and not one bit confident that the Mets would win.

Centerfield

Letting El Duque bat was a horrible decision. The guy was near 100 pitches and was getting hit hard. Not removing him when he was getting hit in the next frame was even worse. I'm not sure what the fuck the point is of getting the lefty up in the pen is if he's not brought in to face the LH pinch hitter.

I feel like Willie was being stubborn there, knowing he would get ripped for letting El Duque bat, then pulling him in the middle of the next inning. I think he was hoping he could save face by at least getting a full frame out of him. Bad bad bad move.

I'm not saying it would have won the game, but I am really getting sick of watching Willie Randolph go against the book and having it hurt the team. There's a reason the book says what it says.

Edgy DC
Jun 12 2007 09:16 AM

Willie's in a slump.

On the other hand, having the Next Karate Kid shwing up in a Mets cap beats having a washed up pop star with a scary porny blonde dye job tossing a loogie in a Dodger jacket.

Keep the masturbation private, sweetie.
