Which is the greatest of the Chinese takeout condiments?

Soy sauce makes me sick, I don't like mustard in general. Easy choice!

Soy is too salty, and I hate mustard.

Duck sauce, like Baby Bear's porridge, is juuuuust right.

I use duck sauce on my egg roll, and soy sauce on my entree, usually.

If I had to give up one or the other, I'd keep the duck and dump the soy.

Soy sauce is the king of Chinese condiments. Duck sauce and mustard have their place (on eggrolls) but if you don't get eggrolls, which I rarely do, then soy sauce is the only one that gets used. Soy sauce is the only one that I have on hand in case needed.

I thought this question was purely hypothetical until, as a means of "switching it up" I ordered some Kung Po for lunch and they asked which condiment I would prefer. I remembered my answer here and said, "Soy!"

Is it a good sign or a bad sign that one of the children working there had a Twins hat on?

I voted for the mustard but only eat it on the dry noodle thingies. Actually,
I like a combo of duck and the mustard on the dry noodle thingies.

I don't use any of the three condiments on the food, prefer that hot chili oil
on the side since most Chinese I eat is on the spicy side except for an oc-
cassionla order of moo shoo pork and that comes with it's own sauce.

Come to think of it, I like fried dumplings too which also comes with sauce.
