I use duck sauce on my egg roll, and soy sauce on my entree, usually.

Soy sauce is the king of Chinese condiments. Duck sauce and mustard have their place (on eggrolls) but if you don't get eggrolls, which I rarely do, then soy sauce is the only one that gets used. Soy sauce is the only one that I have on hand in case needed.

I thought this question was purely hypothetical until, as a means of "switching it up" I ordered some Kung Po for lunch and they asked which condiment I would prefer. I remembered my answer here and said, "Soy!"
