Prince actually isn't nearly as slow as his bulk would lead you to think and isn't a bad fielder from what I've seen.
That may not last as he gets older but he's doing OK for now.

i read somewhere recently (CBS fantasy site i think) that he was estranged from his father, anyone hear about that?

That's impressive work by National League voters. Giving it to the guy who deserves it instead of the obvious choice.

The thing is that by starting the voting as early as they do they leave those voters almost no choice but to cast votes for the old-time favorites and "name" players. The votes for whoever's actually having the better year start to come in later on but they don't always have enough time to make up the difference.
