No idea where to even begin but it's probably something very obvious, the Mets have had players from each town/city listed?

Maybe the way to begin is to focus on some of the more obscure towns, like Baraboo, Wisconsin.

From Wikipedia:

Baraboo is home to Circus World Museum, the former headquarters and winter home of the Ringling Brothers circus and now the largest library of circus information in the US. This living museum has one of the foremost collections of circus carts, and hosts an annual parade of these artifacts through the streets of Baraboo every summer.

Baraboo is also home to the International Crane Foundation, the world's foremost organization dedicated to the study and conservation of the world's 15 species of crane.

Belle Case La Follette was born near Baraboo.

The Shack, the famous Aldo Leopold farm, is located near Baraboo.

That's it. Each town has a crane pool.

Nope.

On edit: It's funny that this whole Trivia Topic came up because I was researching Baraboo for a work-related thing.

(the trivia haas nothing to do with my work, however)

Eash town, in a series of resoultions, has voted themselves a "Patriot Act- Free Zone."

Nothing so involved. I came up with in-commonness with a single google search. What did I search for?

You were searching for regional airports.

Both Baraboo and Sarasota, FL have circus museums. Can't imagine all of those other places do too but I'll gues "circus museums" or something about circuses.

All those towns are mentioned in that Johnny Cash song?

Kid Carsey

They all have Wal-Marts in or very close by?

Willets Point

I don't believe there's room on the steep slopes of Harlem for a regional airport nor would a country singer talk about visiting there.

On the other hand, at least you have guesses. I'm totally stymied.

They had room for a Wal-Mart though in Harlem.

I spot checked a dozen because one of those towns had a shopping center
owned by my long time employer that got Wal-Marted into oblivion.

Didn't have time to investigate each google listing.
Are each of the places where at least three states come together?

Which three states come together in Los Angeles?

It looks like a lot of local officials need to come up with a more original slogan!

You would have thought someone had opted for "A Real Nice Place to Raise Your Kids Up." ;)

I always liked that sign on Brooklyn Bridge:

"BROOKLYN: A nice place to visit, a great place to live!"

Benjamin Grimm

Now when you enter Brooklyn the sign says "How sweet it is!" and when you're leaving it says, "Fuhgeddaboutit!"

And at the Last Exit to Brooklyn?
