You're at a party and the DJ yells "CONGA LINE!!!"

i agree with Anthony. It's a good time to smooch.

If that's not an option, well, there are certain tushies you're only going to touch once in your life.

Depends on the crowd and my mood, but I would generally join in and take part.

i don't participate in conga lines or group dances of any kind... no Horahs, electric glides, lambadas or tarantellas need apply.

In fact, i abhor most communal rituals of any kind... except for singing "take me out to the ballgame" during the 7th inning stretch.

There is something worse than a Conga line though....The Hokey Pokey. I have been seriously tempted to denut a few DJ's for that one.

The Chicken Dance makes the Hokey Pokey look charming and fun. I also hate the Y.M.C.A. (the dance, not the gyms).

Went to a wedding last Friday...I joined the conga line. My wife sat out.

Conga lines don't bother me. The forced stuff like the chicken dance and the Electric Slide are really annoying.

Q: What is one of the reasons why there's a 5-day waiting period for a gun?

I still owe my brother a beat-down for roping me into this at his wedding.

The Hokey-Pokey, on the other hand, is what it's all about.

I'm not a big fan of wedding DJs in general. I'm been to some weddings where the DJ acts like it's showtime and people came to see him perform. Then there was one who thought he was a Don Rickles-type comedian.

We tried something a little different -- a small string quartet. People said they liked it because they could relax and talk to the other guests.

Same damn songs at every wedding.

"Love Shack"
"Play That Funky Music"
"In the Mood."
"Fill Me Up, Buttercup"
"Living on a Prayer" (DJ usually cuts the volume during the "Oh-OH!" part)

Do they think this is my first night out in 20 years or something?

I think we all know what he means by "depends on my mood"
