I did notice it matches Linus's head

I think it's just Peachy....

Feels a little fleshy to me.

I voted "Whatever" and I'm the one who selected the colors!

I voted for the last one. The contrast isn't freaking anyone else's eyes a bit?
|
Kid Carsey Jul 06 2007 01:39 PM |
I'm diggin' the contrast of the blue and tans and mellons.
|
Edgy DC Jul 06 2007 01:42 PM |
I'm OK with FFFCCC. It also provides more contrast from post to post.
|
A Boy Named Seo Jul 06 2007 01:46 PM |
You had me at melons.

maybe a nice road uni gray with some orange highlights might be easier on the retina. the new site looks great nonetheless. bravo!

I voted "whatever" but am leaning toward a little too skin-y too. Plus, it's difficult to make out on an index page those forums with new messages, at least at first glance.

Really dislike it. Voted option #3. Like the Mets-colors idea, but the peach and blue doesn't seem to work. Find myself missing the old color scheme.

We're quickly losing the Brooklyn vote.
|
metirish Jul 06 2007 04:42 PM |
Whatever happens I hope it's not going back to the all blue color.

This just in from SJR-- he wants pinstripes.
|
Batty31 Jul 06 2007 07:14 PM |
It wasn't so bad earlier at work, but on my laptop the "peach" is a wee bit bright for my sensitive eyes.

Brilliant-----Mets pinstripes of course...
|
metsmarathon Jul 07 2007 09:00 AM |
is it me or are the colors getting brighter? maybe i'm just getting duller...
|
A Boy Named Seo Jul 07 2007 09:49 AM |
It's not you. I'm seeing three different colors in the orange/brown family, I think. I love you all, but these colors are crazy.
|
Edgy DC Jul 07 2007 10:13 AM |
I get variations on pumpkin.
|
Zvon Jul 07 2007 01:16 PM |
I love the whole look of the whole place.
|
Elster88 Jul 07 2007 07:07 PM |
I don't the oranges.
|
metsmarathon Jul 07 2007 08:01 PM |
getting better...
|
A Boy Named Seo Jul 08 2007 11:36 AM |
Yeah, I'm liking the softer oranges. My eyes don't feel like bleeding anymore. Thank you.
|
Edgy DC Jul 08 2007 11:41 AM |
I'd like to maybe alternate the softer orange (which should be behind my text in this post) and a neutral off-white or gray.
|
A Boy Named Seo Jul 08 2007 11:49 AM |
I think that would look even better. And still look Mettie. Just subtle.
|
metsmarathon Jul 08 2007 11:59 AM |
yeah, i think the neutral colors will help.
|
Kid Carsey Jul 08 2007 12:55 PM |
Greys would probably work best. One shade DDDDDD and one CCCCCC?
|
Nymr83 Jul 08 2007 01:07 PM |
the DDDDDD and CCCCCC would look fine, not that i mind it as-is.
|
metsmarathon Jul 08 2007 01:51 PM |
y'know, a black background is better for the environment...
|
metsmarathon Jul 08 2007 02:16 PM |
very nice! these mellower colors can allow for a deeper, darker blue, if desired.
