Why did it take almost a year for me to be added here?

This thread is not spam, I'm genuinly curious. I registered at this board on August 31, 2006, and wasn't approved until July 3, 2007. What is this about?

All potential members are first vetted by the Department of Homeland Security. Seriously I have no idea but welcome.

The list has to be populated manually and your name must have been missed. I know this can happen because I just heard from Seo and he didn't make the 7/3/07 list.
