Six shutouts today in MLB. Who says this is the age of offense?

And the Mets come back from what could have been a killer road trip in strong position.

The D-Rays pitching staff would love to use that excuse...

Cards and Braves, tied at two in the ninth, Rolen on third, two out...

2R HR for St Louis (Schumaker)
Still batting lead 4-2 in top 10

7-2 St Louis is your 10-inning final in Atlanta.

Next up for the Braves is a 4-game visit to the SF Barrys.

While we get a day off (the Braves head straight out to SanFran), and exit a very vulneralbe road trip having actually put ground between us and them.

Best record in the league with two of the worst records coming to town after a day off.

This calls for a letdown, baby!
