I'm not so sure that I agree with Keith that Castro was such a slam dunk to go down to 2nd on that throw (high throw home on a short fly for those not watching). With his (lack of) speed I'd hate like hell for him to even have the chance of being thrown out there. Now by not moving up it costs us a run as Milledge followed with a 2-out 2B. But the other side is Milledge never coming up because tubbo was caught trying to get adventurous.

btw, Milledge now has more hard hit balls in the last week then Gomez did during the entire six weeks he was playing.

The Gary-Keith chatter here is awful. Gary: Some SABERMETRICIANS (spit) say clutch hitting DOESN'T EXIST. Can I set this on a tee for you to refute any better? Keith: Sure can't, partner. I know clutch hitting exists because my father during practice told me to imagine it does! Gary: You WATCH baseball. It's obvious, isn't it? Keith: You betcha.

We win, 3-1 (Gotay with the tiebreaking RBI single in the 7th). Coulda been an easier win, that';s for sure. Be sure to offer suds to your pitchers today.

Homerun excepted, Duque was great. Heilman continues to look very sharp. Both Reyes and Milledge look like they got thrown out by a good catcher -- not poor jumps or anything. Tom Glavine doing the "Jose Reyes Spanish Academy" was priceless. Sparse crowd for a Saturday afternoon game.
