Flushing, NY (AP) -- Crane Pool Forum administrators confirmed today that veteran poster seawolf17 would undergo surgery to repair a herniated disc tomorrow. He's not expected to miss more than a day of action.

"It's been really painful," Wolf said this morning. "I haven't really been myself on the boards. Maybe an IGT post or two, a witty comment once in a while, but I'm really looking forward to contributing more during the stretch drive. I mean hell, I haven't even voted in a Schaefer poll since April."

Good luck Wolf. Hopefully the surgery will relieve more pain than it causes.

Management hasn't announced a transaction yet, but ThirdBaseFan and saintal were held out of last night's in-game-thread at the NOLA New Orleans Zephyrs Forum, and are prepared to be activated in time for tomorrow's Mets game if needed.

Since I assume you'll need to lie flat for a while afterward, shouldn't this post go
into the 'Member Pronation Forum'?

Management is also mulling over the promotion of MiniWolf based on the prospect's fast rising performance in the Single AAA Rookie league.

Make the most of your pain management. Better health through better pills.

I graduated from Tylenol to Codeine to Morphine in 30 minutes. Scream a lot.

Is that like, back surgery?

Good luck!

Well, it was indeed back surgery. All went absolutely wonderfully; they've got me on Vicodin, which is pretty effective. My leg is pretty much 100%; now I just have to get through the soreness and pain from the incision and the stitches, which'll take a few weeks.

Sorry I didn't see this yesterday! I have two herniated discs and scoliosis, so I can feel your pain, Wolfie! I'm glad all went well and I wish you the speediest of recoveries!!! Listen to lots of Tesla. :P

Missed it yesterday, too.
Hope you heal real quick and are back to full playing (well, posting) strength ASAP.
