0-0 after one inning. I wanted to wait to see if it was of consequence before going off on home plate ump Rob Drake. Taveras is hit by a pitch that he runs into and was clearly a strike on a pulled back momentum bunt thing. Do the 'stros really need any help here as hot as they've been. Anyway, they strand two and all is well. Sorta.

we strand another guy at 2nd and waste anorther leadoff runner. We're just a different team west of the Mississippi. One that suxxx.

Good pitching dual, 5th inning and no score, just a thought but Dave O'Brien is a lot better with Hernandez, none of the BS that goes on with Seaver. Nice bit of info from Gary Cohen, on this day 1895 Casey Stengel was born, happy 115th Birthday.
