Bulls and Bears

I wonder if there's any correlation between Met fans political leanings and their buyer/seller attitudes? Are liberals or conservatives more likely to be bullish on the Mets' chances for any given season?

KC: Mod/Ind, buyer only if equitable or the general consensus is the Mets didn't
get used and abused. Would be perfectly happy if nothing went down instead
of some crazy-ass sell the ranch just to bring in the Soriano's or Manny's of
the baseball world.

Well, yeah, I agree with that. I don't want to see our top prospects frittered away either. I was looking more for a general optimism-pessimism scale, or a fight-retreat scale.

Yeah, I over-qualified it for effect.

KC: Mod/Ind, optimistic fighting buyer.

I vote the issues.
So I guess it makes sense that I would evaluate any deal based on how much it helps the Mets.
But I wouldn't go buying or selling just for the sake of doing it.

I think it's more complex. Political leanings, sure, but it also has to do with one's position on the gay/straight chart, plus a little to do with Jewish/Christian Met fan, and a dash of young/old, with a jigger of NYC resident/out-of-towner. This of course demands a six-dimensional Powerpoint display, which I'm working on.

This is what I get for not putting this in the form of a poll.
