Adopted: Michael Parker

I am adopting Michael Parker, formerly the star shortstop for my college, George Washington University, and presently a stand-out second baseman for our Kingsport Mets. He was named Appalachian League Player of the Week on August 6th. He's currently batting .329 in 73 AB with 3 HR and 13 RBI with 6 SB, a .419 OBP and .898 OPS. Hail to the Buff and Blue!!!

My adoptee, Michael Parker, has been promoted this year, and will start the season with the Brooklyn Cyclones. Here's something I didn't know - he was named the Appalachian League's Player of the Year last year! He went .298 with 4 HR and 19 RBI in 43 games last year. He also has speed, stealing 7 bases.
