Karl Ehrhardt The Sign man Banner Day 1969 Pratt Agbayani and Ventura Peeing in the sink Old Blue and Orange paneling Lindsey Nelson on TV reading the lineups with the scorecard on the TV screen Loge level walk to the foul pole and giving the enemy leftfielder a hard time Cheap Tickets once upon a time Little League day in the Upper deck Opening day 2 The players banner on fan appreciation day Shea when it gets LOUD The airplanes overhead The Zipper factory The HR Apple Daryl Strawberry and Dwight Gooden Tom Seaver and Jerry Koosman Joe Namath Seeing Shea in the distance on the 7 train and watching the Stadium grow old gracefully Thank you Shea Stadium!

Not really things to miss but memories. You'll still have your memories in 2009.l Unless Doc and Darryl really do live at Shea somewhere.

One thing I'll miss, and until I see the new stadium I won't know how they'll handle it, is the out of town scoreboard. All the scores, right there. NL on the right, AL on the left, with the little red light telling you who was batting.
