By far my favorite tennis to watch.

That girl in gold has muscles on her muscles...oh, was I supposed to be looking at something else?

I'm not a big tennis fan, but whatever happened to tennis whites?

I also feel like the US Open tries to be too "cool" by allowing the players and crowds to be outlandish.

Those outfits are hideous.

The John Isner-and-Donald Young bandwagon still has good seats available.

As far as realistic contenders go, Blake is still my guy.

Beth Mattek, she's one of ours....OO I like Blake a lot but he's hardly a realistic contender.

I forgot to mention that I was planning on tying up Federer and locking him in a trunk.

Big sweaty boobies at the Open.

You can't buy advertising like that.

One of my favorite things about the US Open are the signs at Willets Point station that read simply TENNIS and BASEBALL. It's fun to watch the crowd split to their preferred sporting event.

I wish they'd announce tomorrow schedule so I can know if Federer-Isner is a day or night session match. I'm trying to get tickets with a couple of my friends.

Well, as expected, Federer derails the Isner gravy train.

It was a hell of a ride though, and this is just the first stop.

Winning a set against Federer in a non-French major is no small feat.

So how does Wimbledon, with no lights, no night matches, and considerably worse weather, manage to get their tourney completed in the same two weeks as the U.S. Open which somehow needs to not only have night sessions but have some of their matches still going until nearly 2AM? I don't think they play at night in Paris either.
I mean I know we cater to TV too much and have 3 different time zones to accomodate but there's still something not right here.
Are they using fewer outer courts? Starting later in the day?

Having that Nadal match end at 1:50 AM is too ridiculous for words - both for the fans and the players.

I like the night games but yeah ending at 1pm and later is crazy, good game on now with Roddick taking Federer to a first set tie-breaker,I find myself rooting against Federer because he's so damn good but then cheering some of the impossible shots he makes.

I think it's time to stop the Sampras-Federer comparisons and put Roger in a class by himself.

Both are boring as hell though.

Really? You think so? I agree about Sampras, but Federer is just amazing. Great all-around game, blazing ground strokes, and by all accounts a nice guy.

Yeah he's not as boring as Pete but he's not Mr. personality either I think,my last favorite players were Patrick Rafter and Agassi, maybe Federer is just too freaking good.

Thought Agassi talked way too much during Roddick-Federer as the guest commentator ,and constantly calling Federer "Fed" was terrible.

Federer may have a boring personality, but he's got an astounding game. I think that makes up for it.
