Starting off today is the first game of a double-header between Detroit and Texas. Detroit is now only 3.5 games back of the MFYs for the ALWC, but they're facing, surprisingly, one of the hottest teams in baseball in the Rangers, who've won 5 straight and 12 of 14.

Texas is currently crushing Detroit, 10-0, in the top of the 7th. The Rangers have hit 5 homers, including two from Marlon Byrd.

Nah, that would be great if it happens, but I'm prefer to see them make a first round exit again.

I'm fine with that. There's no way I can root for the Yankees in the ALDS in order for the Mets to have a shot at them. Beating Cleveland is good enough for me.

The division isn't out of the question if they sweep Boston this weekend...
