You Can Still Come to the Mets Fan Book Launch

Even if you haven't joined my mailing list and received an invitation, and even if you haven't yet RSVP'd, you can still get into my book launch party next Sunda. I've saved some extra spots. If you want to come, just e-mail me at danaabrand@cs.com, and please let me know if you are planning to bring a guest or a limited number of guests. BOOK LAUNCH PARTY FOR http://www.metsfanbook.com Where: Mo Pitkin’s, 34 Avenue A between 2nd and 3rd Streets (East Village) When: Sunday, September 23, between 4 pm and 7 pm There will be food and drink and lots of Mets fans and Mets bloggers and Mets authors and documentary filmakers and campaigners to save the apple, etc. This will be a true blue-and-orange event.

I think we might find your invites more inviting if you participated a little here instead of using us for advertising. Not sure of the timing of your post, but it had to be pretty close to the end of our second loss to the Phils -- instead of peddling your gigs you should post how you felt about the Phillies breathing down our necks -- if you had time to watch.
