Delgado comes back tonight so it's only natural that Beltran goes down (who knows for how long?) since the last time Beltran was down was just after Alou came back.

WOW I didn't think it was that bad.

Word comes via radio that Beltran has a bruised patella tendon and is listed as -- say it with me folks .... as "Day to Day"

Probably not fair but I have felt in the past that Beltran doesn't play hurt.

WFAN morons give him shit all the time. PLEASE don't forget he came back in about a week after breaking his face on Mike Cameron's head.

Just about to mention that, Elster, good call. He broke his fucking face. That's gotta hurt a hell of a lot more than a damn knee bruise.

Nastier than him boppin off the walls was they way his legs collapsed accordian style as he hit the warning track. When you lose control like that its very bad, because its like you no longer have any legs. I know how that feels cause it happened to me once, the result of a rushed gravity bong in college.

Sometimes you wish any FAN morons claiming Player X is soft could be given the same injuries X has.
