Since late August:
* In games against the often porous Philly pitching staff, the Mets scored: 2, 2, 2, 10, 2, 3 & 6 runs -- and in the games they scored 10 & 6 they gave up 11 & 10 And in those same games they held the hard-hitting Phils to 3 runs or less 3 times including twice in extra innings - and lost all three.
* Then against the worst hitting in the NL Nationals, the pitching gave up: 12, 9, 4, 13, 10 & 9 runs -- blowing 4-run or more leads 4 times.
