Although the MFY's were an endearing story this season with Steinbrenner going senile and Sister Torre getting fired and Rodriguez becoming a man I am pulling for Cleveland.

I could root for a team with some of the youthful and resilient elements of the MFYs. But I could never root for the MFYs. National League pride (something the Mets don't have anyway) aside, I hope this is the Tribe's year. I've known some really good Cleveland fans over the years and would like them to get their moment at last.

Injuns are about the only AL team that I like...I rooted for them when Jose Mesa had his meltdowns and let the Braves accidentally win a World Series...plus rooting for the Yankees is like rooting for the IRS to get more taxes...
