Rockies Remember Coolbaugh

From MLB.com: ]PHILADELPHIA -- The Rockies weren't too busy winning to try to help a family through the worst kind of loss. Manager Clint Hurdle revealed Thursday that the team last week voted a full playoff share to Amanda Coolbaugh, whose husband, Mike Coolbaugh, was killed when hit by a foul ball while coaching first base for the Rockies' Double-A Tulsa squad on July 22. Hurdle said the gesture "speaks to their awareness, speaks to their passion, speaks to their ... I don't know, everything good about them." Rookie shortstop Troy Tulowitzki, who was with Hurdle at a press conference when the manager revealed the players' decision, said some of the veteran players brought up the idea and the rest of the squad agreed. "We decided as a team ... it was the right thing to do," Tulowitzki said. At the time of the incident, Coolbaugh, 35, and his wife had two children, Joseph, 5, and Jacob, 3, and were expecting their third child this month.

The Rockies seem to be a pretty classy organization. Except for those vests with the white piping.

Still not watching (except for a stray inning here and there) but paying attention to the scores.

Same here. In my house, the Mets trump Hannah Montana. That doesn't apply to the rest of MLB.
