Dusty Baker named new manager for Cincinatti. I find that kind of surprising. You probably have to go back to Piniella to find the last time Cincy coughed up big bucks for a skipper.

Dusty is too old-school for my taste. I like old-school ballplayers. Managers not so much.

Not a coach I would want anywhere near a team I support, IIRC Bobby V outmanaged him badly in the 2000 NLDS.

Thankfully, the basepaths in Cincinnati will now go unclogged. No more pesky walks for Adam Dunn. Maybe they'll sign Neifi Perez.

I like the fact that they have two boards, one for high-quality posters (Old Red Guard) and another for the slobs, but we can barely maintain enough members to generate a multi-page IGT.
