The Incapacitation of Johnny Dickshot

Weird... I couldn't write "death." Instead of a custom designation for reaching 10 billion posts, I have decided to start over again under a new handle. Johnny Dickshot was a spur of the moment thing. For some reason I'd only just heard such a name ever existed, and while I was still laughing I had to sign up here and so that's what went into the field. I've been waiting to retire him for around 4,000 posts. Checking to see if this works...

Considering Mets Guy In Michigan called himself "edgy" in his blog today, I'm thinking this name change thing is going around... I have to say that John Cougar Lunchbucket is an inspired name.

I shall have to update the Who's Who thread. Johnny Dickshot would be a certain first ballot selection for the CPF Hall of Fame, if such a thing existed. edited to correct spelling of Johnny

Heh, I was wondering who pulled Johnny Lunchbucket out of the deep archives! From the MOFO FAQ Johnny Lunchbucket: A hypothetical, stereotyped Mets fan Ambler named the hardworking dupe that sweats for his wage, trades in the hardhat of the day for a soft Mets cap in the evening, and continues to pay whatever they charge for whatever product they put on the field. Meanwhile, the owners and management are up in the luxury box, clinking champagne glasses gloating that they have once again succeeded in deceiving Johnny Lunchbucket. There is an essay somewhere in MBTN's archives where JD (or YGB back in those days) did through Johnny Lunchbucket's perspective.
