Ask yourself (1) how hard was he throwing in 2006 before he fell apart, and (2) how long it typically takes a pitcher to get back to full velocity after such a sugery.

Fascinating to read , I was thinking too that it would be great to read that type of analysis from his best years but pitch-f/x is new to this past season.
