===Veteran's Day Check===

SteveJRogers
Nov 11 2007 11:35 AM

Have to work a full day, but interestingly enough will be covering a Veterans' Day event for a school assignment, checking in around 12-12:30, then checking out at 4 to go to class.

Office closed, but I'm going in for a half-day to get some stuff done with no
phones ringing, and no yappers yappin'.

Anyone reading this who has served in the military, is waiting for a loved one
to come home from the military, or has lost someone in the military -- a warm
and heartfelt thank you.

Unless you're a contractor, in which case you'd (I'd) be working tomorrow.

Much like Columbus Day... since high schools are closed, we're open; and expecting dozens and dozens of students and families.

That sounds like a fun job.
What other rides, or animals, do you have where you work?

At work. Normal day.

And normal traffic, too. It doesn't seem like that many people had the day off.

My wife is at work too. And the kids have school.

Working -- but it's s tough day to write stories with all the government offices closed.

Casey -- what the heck is your avatar. I've looked at it over and over and still can't figure out what's going on there!
