You'd have to ask Elaine.

Keith's agent keeps it classy again. "Just sign one of your jerseys and hold it up in the ad and Earl Stewart will give you a deal!" If you lived in my cable company's sphere of influence, you were privileged to be assaulted for a while on SNY this past season by Keith Hernandez for Oyster Bay Rare Coins. Save 'em up and buy a Mercedes, apparently.

Brings to mind Mark Gastineau signing pumpkins on Northern Boulevard during the NFL players strike of 1982.

Gass crossed the line a week or two later.

This was the first strike, the one without replacement games. It was the second one where he crossed, wherein Pat Leahy, Pat Ryan and Ken O'Brien watched the Replace-Jet game in a bar and said they were going to chug a beer everytime Gastineau got a sack, but he didn't sack anyone. Then they were going to chug a beer every time he recorded a tackle, but he didn't tackle anyone. Then they decided they'd just drink when he lined up.

The Jets' Irish mafia, desperate for an excuse to down a drink, manages to circumvent Gass's ingenious plan for their sobriety.
