Here's a decent one. Which Met set a team record with 16 total bases in an Aug. 30, 1999 pounding of the Astros?

Stuffing and turkey has not dulled your memory! Edgardo had six hits in six at-bats, including three homers, in a 17-1 rout of the Astros. I forget how damn good he was that season. It's a shame he fell apart.

I remember listening to that game on the radio as I was on the road that day. If I recall it right Fonzie was the first MLB player to go 6 for 6 with 3 HRs since Ty Cobb did it in a game.

One of my friends is convinced that Fonzie was one of the players using PEDs, saying that he fell apart far too quickly. He has no proof, mind you, just a suspicion.

they're all drugged up. Clearly Ordonez was on something when he suddenly trippled his previous high in homeruns in 2001.

How about that he was 5-7 years older than he said he was? That could explain it.

I'm pretty confident that we'd have found that out by now.
